We were approached by Hub San Francisco and asked to design and animate several vignettes to serve as transitions in Owl's informative video for their new website launch.

Our main challenge was to create compelling character animation in a very distinct monochromatic visual style. That meant that each animation had to consider it's lines and fills, positive and negative spaces.

Our characters had to resemble the actual actor and dog that appear on screen in the live action video while staying true and loyal to the brand's visual language. We did it by creating  a mixed production of vector and keyframe classic animation.
